It is like the pitch to entice visitors to subscribe to your channel.  Make it short and to the point but interesting.

How To Optimize Your YouTube Dental Videos

dental videosAre you using dental videos to help in marketing your practice?  Dental videos are an important part of dental practice marketing.  If you are a dental practice that is using YouTube to spread the word about your dental practice, are you setting them up so that they perform the way that you need them to? Here are some tips:

Plan your video title – Be sure that your video title has your dental practice name at the beginning. Also be sure to include any pertinent key words or phrases.

Transcribe your videos – You want to be sure and replace YouTube’s video transcription with your own text file. This will guarantee that your transcription actually matches what you are saying in the video.

Think carefully about tags – Tags are important because they connect your video with other related videos on YouTube. Choose the 7 keywords that best describe your video to use as tags.

Write a description – Use the description area as a sort of blog post about the video.  Include your web address at the beginning so it shows first under your video.  List a contact email and phone number.

Share your videos – Once you’ve created your videos, share them on Facebook, Twitter, G+ and in your dental practice newsletters and blogs. Because YouTube keeps track of the number of times your videos have been viewed, the higher the video ranks on YouTube.
